nona the ninth

This is my second time reading it since I got it. It's been so long lol

the first time around I kind of just read it to get it over with, but this time i'm actually enjoying it. I would do anything to be able to read this series for the first time tbh.

a memory called empire

I wanted to read a desolation called peace, the book succeeding memory, but after I got a few pages in I accepted that it had been too long since I read the first book. I read the whole thing start to finish today. I want to say it was even more enjoyable the second time around, since I had forgotten most of the minutae of the book but enough of the plot that I could keep up pretty easily.

It was also nice to go into this book with the goal of reading the next book right after this. I'm going to go do that now and we'll see if I get any sleep tonight.

a desolation called peace

I started this yesterday before realizing I needed to re read the first book. So far I like it well enough.

I will say, it's got me more invested in the first few chapters than when I first read the first book a couple years ago. I remember getting bored of it pretty quickly and then having to re-start, but in this one there's shit happening straight away.

I'm tempted to put my fucking chemistry textbook on here. Chapter three was riveting. wave particle duality.
